CLONES There is a limited amount of game fishing in the Clones
area and most of this is controlled by the local angling
association who will advise on access and permits.
From Scarvy Bridge to its upper limits the River
Finn is
undoubtedly a trout system albeit of a limited capacity,
with good trout spawning and rearing streams in the upper
reaches.
The Clones Anglers stock the Clones Reservoir annually and
operate it as a put-and-take fishery. Enquire locally.
