Towns and Villages in County Monaghan - Ballybay
Ballybay is situated to the south of the county, it is the
smallest of the principal towns with a population of 1,052.
The town which is located beside Lough Major, was founded on the linen industry
but is now a prominent angling centre with several excellent waters.
The Billy Fox Memorial Park is located 5km along the Cootehill to
Ballybay route. Its pleasant forest trails are highly recommended.
